About

MeMy name is Stacy Danna and this is the first time I have ever blogged.  I will admit I was a little hesitant at first.  I am not a fan of sharing my thoughts and ideas with people I barely know, but since it is a requirement for my class I am going to jump in feet first and see what happens.    Here are a few interesting facts about me:

I am currently a graduate student in the Advertising program at Michigan State University.  When I originally enrolled in this program I was “fresh” out of undergrad and had only been in the workforce/real world for a little over a year.  I was not nearly as dedicated to the program as I needed, or wanted, to be as I was still trying to adjust to working full time, living at home and having a significantly less exciting social life.  Therefore, I decided to take a short (turned long)break from the program.  I re-enrolled in classes last year and am so grateful I took time off.  Not only do I now appreciate what I am learning, but the classes and program have both improved immensly.  For example, I will now be able to get a certification in New Media Marketing as part of the New Media Drivers License course I am currently enrolled in which is taught by Derek Mehraban, CEO Ingenex Digital Marketing….what an experience!  I am a New Media Marketing virgin and am excited to learn all there is about blogging, Facebook, LinkIn, SEos, etc. from one of the best in the industry.

I live in Berkley and in my free time I love working out, cooking and spending time with friends and family….and, now, it looks as though I may be adding blogging to this list!
